The horror, the Bollywood horror…
If you thought Bollywood was all about dancing, singing, Big Brother racism and incredibly low-budget adaptations of The Matrix, then think again because it turns out that you’re only half right. It seems there’s a darker side to Bollywood too, a nightmare world stalked by hideously-bearded vampire werewolves, hideously-bearded cyclopses, a zombie that looks like Jeff Goldblum, some cats and a 3D fat Zorro. It’s hard to tell what’s going on in most of these bad boys but it seems that beards = evil and moustaches = good. One of my favourites is the unfortunately named ‘Jaani Dushman’, who is so fearsome that in one of the posters they could only bear to draw half his face.
