LAUNCH PARTAYYYY

We had the launch party for our pop-up shop on Friday night and I’m only just feeling recovered enough to post up the photos, which should give you an idea of how good it was. A huge amount of friends, industry colleagues, customers, hot chicks, stockists, press, family, free-booze-drinkers, ex-girlfriends, next girlfriends, people who love streetwear, people who couldn’t care less about streetwear, ear nibblers, shoe fetishists and Leo the Second Son photo dog all blessed us with their presence. The feedback on the store / clothes / artwork / customs was great, the music was dope (thanks to Luke, Darren and Tom), and the mood in general was brilliant. Big thanks to everyone who came down and made it such a good party - the graffiti a few doors down got followed to the letter:

Rome wasn’t built in a day…

… but our pop-up shop was. It began badly when we arrived to find that there’d been a double-booking and the head chef from Nobu was cooking in a makeshift kitchen in the gallery where we were supposed to be setting up shop. Not an ideal start, but luckily things got better from there, at least after we’d got rid of the fog of deep-fried fat that filled the room…

Second Son Pop-up Shop launch party

Our temporary pop-up shop launches at Bodhi Gallery in Brick Lane on Saturday 27th Sept (this weekend). To celebrate and drown our sorrows after having to build a shop in a day, we’re throwing a launch party on Friday 26th Sept from 7-11pm. There will be DJs, free beer, hot chicks (we promise) and a specially-made Second Son ‘Yes Juice’ cocktail mixed by the bartenders from Hakkasan. Click the flyer for full details.

Nash Money: where my blogs at?

Our boy Nash Money, the official face (well, horse’s head) of Second Son, has his own blog at last. Peep game as he is working on some new isht as we speak:

In other news, we’ll have a display of Nash’s customs in the Second Son pop-up shop that opens in Brick Lane this weekend. Plus look out for dude getting his Zoolander on in our new lookbook which we’ll be shooting in Norfolk next weekend. Rumour has it that a real horse may be involved this time… no joke. Pop-up Shop

This weekend we’ll be launching the Second Son pop-up shop at Bodhi Gallery in Brick Lane (downstairs from the bar of the same name). The shop will run from 27th September till 15th October and will be full of Second Son tees, sweatshirts and denim (including the new and as yet unreleased all-black twill denim jeans). We’ll also have artwork on display plus an exhibition of customised sneakers, hats and clothing from our boy Nash Money.

We’re holding a launch party this Friday 26th September from 7-11pm with free booze, DJs, hot chicks and a special Second Son cocktail that will be made for us by the bartenders from famed London restaurant Hakkasan - I’ll post up the flyer with full details shortly but put it in your diary in the meantime…
