Our new range is about to drop. Building on the popularity of our jeans, we’ve expanded the collection to include new a new denim style and button-down shirts alongside the usual graphic tees and sweatshirts. The range is themed around occult and magical imagery, from alchemy to B-movies via cosmic Egyptology, hypnosis and Michael Jackson’s Thriller jacket. Smelling a photo opportunity, we headed down to the G20 riots in London with Nash Money to photograph the new cut ‘n’ sew items.

The shirts are made right here in East London using fabrics sourced in the UK and are available in limited numbers only. The Le Mesmer shirt features a purple check fabric with turquoise pig suede elbow patches, while the Ticking shirt uses cotton ticking material with bias-cut elbow patches. The smart cut and fabrics are freshened up with unusual details such as the contrasting elbow patches, purple buttons at cuff and collar and Second Son flag label at the pocket.

The selvedge Regular Jeans and twill Stealth Jeans are also back, alongside the new acid-wash twill Slater jeans. Watch this space for more details when the new range and our new website drop…

Hypebeast have just published a feature on the big homie Nash Money. Nash has been biding his time recently, quietly working hard on his evil plans for world domination, and he has several new projects in the works including shoes for DC and Lacoste which will be released later this year. Good to see him finally getting the chance to design kicks for major brands from scratch - it’s been a long time coming… Check the image above for a sneak pixellated preview.

Read the full interview here and keep your eye on Nash’s upcoming new website for more news.

Look at “Look at this f*cking hipster”

I know exactly how the guy who runs this site feels as I live slightly too close to Shoreditch, where local hipster fashions come and go so quickly it’s like a tornado of yellow man-tights and pointy elf shoes. Last week the androgynous gypsy wizard look was all the rage, at the weekend it looked like a crackhead cowboy convention, and today I swear I saw The Worst of the Mohicans.

Peep scorchingly accurate game at Look At This F*cking Hipster.

Free mix: Session’s Fresh Ones

Our friend Session made us an exclusive mix that you can download for free at FreshCotton. Session is a ridiculously prolific musician, producer and DJ who makes more dope music in more different styles in a week than most artists manage in a lifetime. No joke, this dude drops more heavy shit than a dinosaur’s ass. When he’s not busy making music, Session also contributes to the infamous GSD blog, and as if all that wasn’t enough he’s also affiliated with Rogue Status’ DTA crew and London’s ATG. Busy man.

The Session X Second Son mix consists of 26 eclectic bangers ranging from B.I.G. to AC/DC via breaks, township funk, James Bond dubstep remixes (seriously) and everything in between… Download it here and click on the thumbnail below for the full track listing.

Guru & Professor Green at Carhartt

pg_guru2.jpg

Last week the Carhartt store in Earlham St hosted another dope instore event featuring Guru of Gang Starr fame, ably supported by our boy Professor Green. Turns out they became mates a while ago when Guru was allegedly kicked out of a party for smoking something Pro Green had sold him…

These Carhartt events are a cut above your average streetwear sausage party: the music is always good, the beer is always free and there’s always a healthy proportion of girls with healthy proportions in the crowd, making it all a hell of a lot more fun than the usual fare where you just end up sober and surrounded by guys checking out your trainers.
