It began badly when we arrived to find that there’d been a double-booking and the head chef from Nobu was cooking in a makeshift kitchen in the gallery where we were supposed to be setting up shop. Not an ideal start, but luckily things got better from there, at least after we’d got rid of the fog of deep-fried fat that filled the room…

In other news, we’ll have a display of Nash’s customs in the Second Son pop-up shop that opens in Brick Lane this weekend. Plus look out for dude getting his Zoolander on in our new lookbook which we’ll be shooting in Norfolk next weekend. Rumour has it that a real horse may be involved this time… no joke. At 7:30pm last Saturday evening I experienced one of the greatest moments of my life when I was accused of being an ‘International Party Boy’. We’d just returned from a trip to New York (photos coming soon) where we happened to bump into Sebas from FreshCotton at the Mishka 5th anniversary party, and a week later here we were in Amsterdam for the FreshCotton party. The FC boys were celebrating the launch of their brand-new website and they don’t mess about when it comes to parties. Unfortunately this one didn’t have bikini-clad girls using giant cannons to fire free t-shirts into the crowd like the last one, but it was a certified banger nonetheless…

So it’s with pleasure and pride that we announce that we’re now giving a little bit back across the pond. We’ve been stocked at New Jersey’s finest skate shop Division East for a while now, and the latest additions to the roster are Jeff Staple’s famed store The Reed Space in NYC and the mighty art/culture/clothing boutique Pedestrian in Philly. Yee-haw!
